As a family-run company, KUBATEC BMT AG initially focused on niche and specialist products for the construction industry. Developing and producing oxygen burning lances for cutting concrete elements marked its entry into the demolition sector and laid the foundation for its international growth.
With BETONAMIT®, the non-explosive cracking agent for the safe and controlled demolition of rock and concrete, the company evolved from a specialist manufacturer into an internationally sought-after partner. Today, products developed and made in-house serve customers and projects in more than 80 countries.
The Ruggell location combines highly qualified people, short decision-making paths and dependable conditions. Liechtenstein is one of the world's most industrialized countries and stands for innovation, quality and reliability.
Membership of the European Economic Area and international trade agreements provide direct access to key markets. This makes Liechtenstein an ideal base for bringing development, production and worldwide sales together in one location.
Awards
With enormous innovative power and the necessary flexibility, problems are always seen as an opportunity and a challenge. KUBATEC BMT AG already made a name for itself in Austria back in 1976, when the Reichsbrücke bridge collapsed into the Danube on August 1st.
After several failed attempts with armored recovery vehicles from the Austrian Armed Forces and other salvage methods, KUBATEC BMT AG stepped in and developed and produced a special oxygen core lance in record time. Its great advantage was that it could cut through steel and concrete both above and below water. This made it possible to break up and salvage large concrete elements. KUBATEC BMT AG was awarded a medal of merit for this achievement.
Development & Production
Our production facility is located in Ruggell in the Principality of Liechtenstein. Our large storage and production areas allow us to meet delivery deadlines with almost 100% reliability, even under high workloads. Continuous investment in our production facilities creates clean and gentle working conditions for our employees, even when producing highly dusty products.
The development and production of Betonamit, the non-explosive cracking agent for safe and controlled demolition of rock and concrete, was a key factor in the company's international success. Today we manufacture for countless renowned companies worldwide and produce our products under our own brands as well as numerous private labels on behalf of our customers.

Managing Director
Bruno Meyerhans is the Managing Director of the company. He took over the company after his business education in Innsbruck and has led it since 2010. He is responsible for management, international sales and consulting on major projects. New business development and strategic planning are also part of his responsibilities.

Jonathan heads production and is jointly responsible for quality management. As a trained polymechanic with over 10 years of professional experience, he forms the link between management, infrastructure and production.

Memberships
Founded in 1947, the LIHK represents the interests of employers on behalf of around 40 member companies, which provide employment for over 12,870 people in Liechtenstein and a further nearly 56,870 people in many countries around the world.
The Swiss Blasting Association is a professional association whose goal is to promote blasting technology, train its members, and provide corresponding further education and training. The association has around 1,000 members.
